OfficeMaps 1.5 has been released and includes new features and a range of bugs fixed. If your OfficeMaps is not cloud-hosted, these changes will be available immediately. Simply log out of OfficeMaps, restart your browser and then log in again. If your OfficeMaps is self-hosted then you will need to update your OfficeMaps website following a manual process. Please contact OfficeMaps support if you require assistance with this.

New Features and Improvements

IsProvider field added to Person - A field has been added to Person so can users who were added to the system through Active Directory synchronisation can be tracked separately from manually added ones.

Users can be automatically disabled based on Active Directory settings - The option is now available in Preferences..People to automatically disable OfficeMaps users removed from the specified AD groups or disabled in Active Directory itself.

Search results weighted - Searches now return results that are weighted, with more significant values appearing before results that are less likely to be relevant.

Search Results tagged - The field in which a search was found for People is now displayed beside the search result to provide context.

Toggle Names/Profile Pictures - Users viewing a map can choose to display people based on their profile picture rather than their name. Click the profile picture icon at the right end of the map toolbox to toggle the settings.

Person Popover - Hovering over a person's badge or profile picture on the map now displays a large tooltip with a larger profile picture, name, position, email address, telephone and mobile.

Icon selection now easier - Selecting icons for Assets and Pins in Preferences has been simplified, allowing administrators to now select from a drop down list of icons rather than needing to enter the icon code.

Pin replaced with blinking outline - The currently selected person, asset or pin is now highlighted using a blinking outline rather than a static pin.

Reports To field in person profile pane now shows only the first three results - When a person has four or more people reporting to them, only the first three are displayed with an option button below to display the full list.

Bug Fixes

A number of bugs have been resolved including the following:

Floor maps failing to load once browser storage full.

Calendar events are displayed with incorrect timezone offset.

Search altered to include a person's First and Last Name in results.

Calendar not displaying for Office 365 provider.
