OfficeMaps 2.9 has been released and includes new features as well as bug fixes. If your OfficeMaps is cloud-hosted, these changes will be available immediately. Simply log out of OfficeMaps, restart your browser and then log in again. If your OfficeMaps is self-hosted then you will need to update your OfficeMaps website following a manual process. Please contact OfficeMaps support if you require assistance with this.
New Features and Improvements
Changes to the kiosk pin - A directional arrow can be added to each kiosk pin which allows administrators to indicate the direction that the kiosk is facing (in increments of 45 degrees).
Floor plan image restrictions - Administrators can now only upload floor plan files with the extension PNG, JPG or JEPG and with a maximum size of 5 MB.
Site Level zoom level - A default zoom level can be specified for each floor which controls the default appearance for the floor (zoomed in or out).
Neighbourhood floor area - For each floor level, administrators can record an area size (in square metres of feet) for every neighbourhood on the floor, which aids in reporting.
Department use by neighbourhood - Now administrators can specify the departments that different neighbourhoods use for each floor which helps report on physical floor space used by departments.
Organisation Chart (PROFESSIONAL SUBSCRIPTION ONLY) - Users with a Professional subscription can select the Org Chart icon next to a person's profile image in the People Panel to see a visual representation of that user's relative position within the organisational structure.
Bug Fixes
A number of bugs have been resolved including the following:
Cannot delete a value assigned to a single value drop down in a Person, Asset or Pin.
Two neighbourhoods with the same colour will be appear to be the same neighbourhood in the filter.
The Close button on the Calendar modal dialog no longer closes it.
When adding a temporary booking, ensure that the period does not exceed the Status Expiry date of any permanent assignment on that asset.
When the pin marker on a road map view is displayed on a screen with greater than 100% text scaling, it appears clipped.Changes to a Date field value in the Person or Desk Panel do not appear until you switch to a different object and then switch back.
Change "Not Available" tag on Assets to "Unallocated".
Using the map to change a user's status to a Bookable status does not make the asset immediately bookable from the map.
Too many Can Group by fields make it impossible to use Search Tab on small screens.
