21 December 2018 Web / API Updated to v2.6

OfficeMaps 2.6 has been released and includes new features as well as bug fixes. If your OfficeMaps is cloud-hosted, these changes will be available immediately. Simply log out of OfficeMaps, restart your browser and then log in again. If your OfficeMaps is self-hosted then you will need to update your OfficeMaps website following a manual process. Please contact OfficeMaps support if you require assistance with this.

 

New Features and Improvements

Allow standard AD field names to be used for asset allocations - Administrators can choose to assign users to assets as part of the synchronisation process which reads information from an Active Directory field to specify the asset. Administrators can now use a more user friendly name for some of these fields.

Control Display of Users' Status - Administrators can now choose when user's status will be displayed. 

Improved reporting on AD Synchronisation process - More information is now provided in the Excel spreadsheet output in order to better track the success of the synchronisation process.


Bug Fixes

A number of bugs have been resolved including the following:


Person fields can lose focus during editing.
In Kiosk, Asset Neighbourhood is only indicated on Assets that have allocations.
