OfficeMaps 2.1 has been released and includes new features as well as bug fixes. If your OfficeMaps is cloud-hosted, these changes will be available immediately. Simply log out of OfficeMaps, restart your browser and then log in again. If your OfficeMaps is self-hosted then you will need to update your OfficeMaps website following a manual process. Please contact OfficeMaps support if you require assistance with this.
New Features and Improvements
Neighbourhoods - Sites with a Professional subscription are able to assign assets to a neighbourhood for use in Kiosks and reporting. Each neighbourhood has a colour and assets in these neighborhoods can be grouped and viewed in a single glance. This makes it easy to identify areas that are appropriate for each user's booking needs.
More information for Kiosk Users - When making a booking for a desk through the kiosk, users will now see the City next to each Location to make selection clearer. In addition, when changing levels users will be able to see the number of available desks for each site level.
Zoom level for Map Widget - Administrators can now specify a starting zoom factor which will be applied to a specific map widget link. For more information about how to implement this, please contact OfficeMaps support.
Bug Fixes
A number of bugs have been resolved including the following:
Opening a person search result from the Intranet widget launches OfficeMaps, but the Location Tree is not visible.
When a Person's status expires, assets do not become available for booking through the kiosk.
Search results for users who are not assigned and have no home location do not go to the top node with no filter.
