OfficeMaps 2.8 has
been released and includes new features as well as bug fixes. If your
OfficeMaps is cloud-hosted, these changes will be available immediately. Simply
log out of OfficeMaps, restart your browser and then log in again. If your
OfficeMaps is self-hosted then you will need to update your OfficeMaps website
following a manual process. Please contact OfficeMaps support if you require
assistance with this.
New Features and Improvements
Neighbourhood area size can be tracked - Each neighbourhood on a floor can have an area specified in a number of metres or feet squared to help track effective use of floor space.
People data shown on kiosk can be controlled - Now administrators can choose to show or hide user's information when view on a kiosk including Mobile/Cell Phone, Telephone, Extension and Work Days.
Enhancements made to the Skype Application - Changes have been made to the Skype application to address minor issues, add better logging and make other internal improvements.
Bug Fixes
A number of bugs
have been resolved including the following:
Booking kiosk page does not display results in the grid when results have been returned.
Aerial views of maps do not appear correctly.
Some floor plan maps can cause the OfficeMaps application to fail when the user attempts to check in to the kiosk on that floor.
Selecting a Pin or Asset does not cause the object to appear selected on the map. (IE/Edge only)
