Web App and API Updated to v2.5

OfficeMaps 2.5 has been released and includes new features as well as bug fixes. If your OfficeMaps is cloud-hosted, these changes will be available immediately. Simply log out of OfficeMaps, restart your browser and then log in again. If your OfficeMaps is self-hosted then you will need to update your OfficeMaps website following a manual process. Please contact OfficeMaps support if you require assistance with this.

 

New Features and Improvements

  1. Add Locations to Asset Allocations - Administrators can choose to assign users to assets as part of the synchronisation process which reads information from an Active Directory field to specify the asset. Administrators can now additionally reference a second Active Directory field which specifies the Location so that more than one asset with the same name can be synchronised.  
  1. Enable or Disable the ability to Check in on the Mobile Application and the Web Application on Mobile - Administrators can now turn off the ability for users to check in to an asset using a mobile device.


Bug Fixes

A number of bugs have been resolved including the following:

  1. Set password function on the Person screen fails when the user does not have an email address.
  2. Launching a kiosk pin on a site level does not navigate to the pin when launched.
  3. CSV update of People does not work correctly if the email field is not supplied.
  4. The Map Person list does not include people who have their home location set.
  5. Check In button on web application remains clicked when changing maps, requiring it to be clicked on/off to enable again.
