Once a Level Map has been created, assets can be added to it to help define the environment in which people work. The most common assets that people are assigned to are desks which denote the physical space where a user can be located.
Only Administrators are able to add, edit or remove assets from a map. Browse through the Location Tree until the Level location is selected. The pencil button appears next to the map control buttons which are available to all users.
Clicking this button enters edit mode which displays a number of objects that can be added to the map (People, Assets and Pins). Select the icon that resembles a computer screen to choose Assets.
The list of available assets will appear. Select an asset from the list and drag it to its desired spot on the map.
When an asset is added to a map, details of that asset appear in the Desk Panel. If desired, changes to the asset can be made by editing it as described in the article Viewing and Editing Assets in the Desk Panel. Repeat this process as many times as needed. When finished, click the pencil button again to end editing mode.
