How to: Create a new Asset Type
To create a new Asset Type:
- Click on the arrow on the left top corner (on top of your username).
- Click on the 'Preferences' button.
- Click on the 'Assets' button on the left side bar.
- Click on the 'Add Asset Type' blue button.
Asset Configuration A Pop Up will appear like the image below.
Pop Up The table below explain each individual field:
Asset Type | Is the name of the asset |
Order | Is the order that the asset will show on the asset list |
Is Default | If an user is dragged to an empty space on the map it will create the asset that is assigned as a default and then assigned the user to that asset. |
Is Desk | Refers to a workspace that can be check in and refers to a workstation, users can only check in to one asset that is toggle ‘Is Desk’, if the user check in to another asset that ‘Is Desk’ the user will be check out automatically from the other Check In asset. |

Icon Size | Icon size |
Icon Rotate | Rotation of the icon on the map |
Hide Label | Hides the asset's label |
Hide Capacity | If this toggle is on it will hide the capacity number on the asset |
Hide Max Booking | Hides the Max Booking Time table |
Hide Icon | Hides the icon on the assets |
Is Bookable | If the asset can be reserve or check in |
Multiple Allocations | If this toggle is on you can check in in multiple assets |
Is Floater | Multiple people can check in at the same time to the same asset (focus to meeting room) |
Max Booking Time | Is the max period of time someone can check in (this always exceed the periods available time) |
Periods Available
| Is the pre selected period of time someone can check in to that asset |

When editing a map and an user is dragged to an empty space on the map it will create the asset that is assigned as a default and then assigned the user to that asset.
